We are not just a Big Band. We’re a community Big Band. We’re passionate about Big Band music – everything from jazz and swing to soul and pop. More importantly, we are passionate about sharing our love of Big Band music with our local community.
It’s not just about the music itself. It’s about the shared experience of making music – people playing individual parts, producing something that is so much more than the sum of the individual contributions. People from a variety of different backgrounds, united through a shared love of the music.

Play with us
If you share our passion for Big Band music we’d love you to play with us – whether you are an experienced player or relatively new to your instrument.
Rehearsals are informal, fun, and full of encouragement. There are no auditions – you will be welcomed whether you can play all the notes or just a few. Other than the rhythm section, we have no limit on the number of instruments in the band.
Rehearsals are on Monday nights starting at 8pm at Brackenwood Golf Club House.
