What standard do I need to be?
At heart we are a community band, providing the opportunity for amateur musicians to play big band music in a friendly, relaxed environment. There are no auditions – we’re passionate about involving as many people as possible – but in practical terms you should have reasonable sight-reading skills as well as a basic competence on your instrument.
